one of the most beautiful towns on the French Riviera
It's Sunday. Let's be kids - perhaps we still are regardless of our age. I hope so.
The garden of the Serre de la Madone in Menton recently ran a hands-on workshop to teach children the joys of gardening, hence the decorated rakes and the scarecrow that welcomed them.

Again great photo from great place, Jilly.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me-- I need to get busy on that scarecrow. hahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I would happily participate.
ReplyDeleteOh, monsieur, he's such a rake. And that scarecrow, stuffed with vegetables again. Tsk tsk. What fun, Jilly.
ReplyDeleteFunny and sweet shots!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable!! The rakes made me LOL! :)

Fun! I've always liked rakes, just a little bit. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love your title. This time four years ago my son was in Menton - I remember because it was at World Cup time - on a school French Tour. He now has a BA in French and cant wait to get back!
ReplyDeleteThe rakes do look very French.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, brings a smile to my face :)
ReplyDelete- Mindless Mumbai
Superb idea. Thanks for the photos, Jilly.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, we lost our sweet Duncan on Wednesday, June 9. We're certain that he's now playing at full tilt with my aunt's two golden retrievers Honey and Ginger and my brother's good-sized, rescued mutt Sadie. Not bad for a 10-pound miniature dachshund, to be accepted by the big dogs! Mama and I miss the little guy very much, but we have such splendid memories. I've posted three about Duncan in the past week, in case you want to take a look.
Mr and Mme Rake get a child....What's his name, and what does he look like :-?
ReplyDeleteOh, what fun these rakes are, Jilly. Love the whimsey they embody!
