Churchill amidst the Citrus
The gardens of the Palais Carnoles in Menton display sculptures amongst their famous collection of citrus trees. This is Sir Winston Churchill by the Dutch sculptor Kees Verkade who lives in Monaco.

I have been to his family home in Kent. What a place!!:)
ReplyDeleteAnd I have seen many of his oil paintings both inside the main building and at his studio. Many of them were from France..... He must have LOVED FRANCE!;)
