Reflections - the Dead Bird

This dog wants to hold on to the wing of a dead sea bird that he's found on the beach. His owner wants it off him. Eventually the owner won.

  9. Like so many others I must compliment you on this outstanding composition and superb shot, Jilly. I just love it. The man's crouching reflection reminds me of an elephant, so although it is sad about the bird and the training struggle between dog and owner, there is a bit of levity in it for me as well.

  17. Crystal-clear reflection, bravo. Bibi doesn't usually like to hold on to such things; she rolls in them....

Giving up a prize like that is hard for a dog to do. But he knows who feeds him so he will let it go and look for something else.
