Boutchette and the Village Children
One of the many good things about living in a medieval village is that the children can play in total safety.
Here they are in the village square, playing with Boutchette, the Bassett Hound that belongs to Le Beau Sejour. Click on the link to see Boutchette a year ago when she was a puppy - adorable - she still is.
Fun in an almost forgotten world and time
ReplyDeleteque j'aimerais revenir a mes jeunes années et pouvoir jouer avec eux ;))
ReplyDeleteLooks idyllic!
ReplyDeleteI can hear their happy voices echoing off the ancient walls.
ReplyDeleteBoutchette appears to be eating up all that attention!
ReplyDeleteI looked back at last year's photo and text. Boutchette is indeed a very enjoyable character.
ReplyDeleteLife seems so simple in this little village, and the children so joyful.
ReplyDeleteI also got a kick out of Boutchette, in the second photo, still laying on the ground soaking up the sun while the kids are running away. It's such a zen-like doggy thing to do. He seems completely oblivious to the chaos around him. This whole scenario really made me smile.
Boutchette young and old is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful dog.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the safety of raising children in small villages. They can roam the street as they please, the worst that can happen is a scratched knee :-)
