  6. I guess what we call rose of sharon is a hibiscus in bush or tree form. Mine is about ten feet tall. And at least that thick through. It is pure white with a deep wine throat. A dozen feet away is another but this new one is the same color as your picture.

    This particular lavender pink looks so good against the verdigris shade of green on the shutters behind.
    Lovely combination and so sharp.
    You wouldn't be a friend and help me choose a lens for my new camera, would you? I have done little else besides reading reviews these past few days and my eyes have gone square.

  10. oh we had these when we lived in south Florida but here we must keep in large pots and bring them in when it gets cooler. Lovely composition Jilly!
