October is a great time to visit Menton. It is still warm and sunny most days; evenings get a little cooler. And you have more of the beach to yourself. The Sablettes Beach falls under the shadow of the Old Town in the afternoon as the sun sets - a wonderful reminder that it is time for aperitifs.
Well, October for sure, but they are still on the beach. Lucky Mentonnais! (Is that the right adjective?)
