Don't know - all our swans - and there are hundreds live in the sea. But then we don't have much in the way of lakes and rivers.
It looks quite serene there, but then the water also looks very calm.

Wow! Just when I thought nothing could top the tranquility of the fisherman on Cap Martin photo posted a few days ago, you come up with a swan gliding in Menton's bay, Jilly. You are a master.
Love this one Jilly!!! He looks so...well...so non chalant!!! Like he's thinking..."Heck! What's the big deal? I swim around here all the time..."
I guess no one told him he couldn't swim there, so what the heck? Why not grace a beautiful bay with his beautiful presence?
