A lovely photo shot,, the weather looks like it does here in the Pacific North West 9 well maybe 10 months out of the year,,,, surprisingly we actually have had more sunny days this winter then normal, but still it is overcast here more often then not.
Another lovely photo, Jilly. The weather is perfect for black and white. Are those scaffoldings I see to the right? Are they setting up for the Lemon Festival already? I sure hope the sunshine returns by then.
Gailsman, yes this part of Menton has pebbles. There are other beaches that have sand.
Karen, what you see to the right are the Christmas trees - supports for all the lights. They've not started preparations for the Lemon festival yet but I don't expect it will be too far away.
Genie, today it hasn't rained. Well just spat at times. Happy days...I went up to Gorbio so from tomorrow, we'll see some village photos.
Here in the north it's not only the rain, but the FLOODS ! A lot of flooding going on... But better rain than snow ! If all the rain we've had in the past several days had been snow, northern France would have been paralysed, again...

Your pictures give the same mood than Deauville in the movie "Un homme et une femme" by Lelouch!so romantic!
ReplyDeleteDommage pour la pluie mais quelle magnifique photos!
ReplyDeletePatience, patience, patience. I am certain that the wonderful weather will return . . . some day.
ReplyDeleteWow, you really are getting a soaking!
ReplyDeleteQuite a moody shot with the lone dog walker. Looks more like Brighton with the pebbled beach.
ReplyDeleteI thought of "Un homme et une femme," too.
ReplyDeleteIt was sunny here today; snow melted, but perhaps there'll be another round.

ReplyDeleteBut your rain shots are so incredible... I cannot believe that it is raining again! Did you only have one day without it?
ReplyDeleteHoping that you get more than a few hours with some soleil!
