one of the most beautiful towns on the French Riviera
It wouldn't be the Fete du Citron without some dancing girls. Don't you just adore the feathers!

Il ne pourrait y avoir la Fête du Citron sans quelques danseuses. Ne trouvez-vous pas ces plumes adorables!

Sorry Jilly, but my eyes were guided elsewhere in the photo. But now I have gained control over them, yes they are lovely feathers!
ReplyDeleteAh, the joys of costumes! Colorful, shining, moving costumes.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid my eyes behaved in much the same way as Graeme's. This triplet of images works so beautifully in bringing the viewer into the moment.
ReplyDeleteFeathers? Are there feathers in these pictures?
ReplyDeleteI always had a thing for birds.
ReplyDeleteOh, Jack!!:o))
ReplyDeleteI was about to ask you, Jilly, if you really were thinking that men would look at the feathers..the Anwer is in the comments!:)
I wondered if there were very many people ogling the feathers myself. But they, and the lady wearing them, and the photo you took of them are all beautiful, Jilly.
ReplyDeleteOnly we women would notice the feathers on this one!!!
ReplyDeleteThe whole point in mentioning the feathers was to get this response from men! It worked!
ReplyDeleteOh you sly girl, you!!!
ReplyDeleteTheChieftess ... that's me! Thanks so much for your comments. xxx
ReplyDeleteYes Jilly you are too funny! I have really enjoyed the Lemon/Orange Festival photos. This event is now definetly on my to do list

ReplyDeleteColorful -- however, that young lady does not need the frills or the feathers to attract attention,
and yes the feathers are lovely.
