78th Fete du Citron - Perseus and the Gorgon, Medusa
In Greek mythology, the hero Perseus killed the gorgon Medusa, whose visage was so terrible that all who looked on her were turned to stone.

Dans la mythologie grecque, le héros Persée tua la Gorgone Méduse dont le visage était si terrifiant que tous ceux qui la regardaient étaient transformés en pierre.
Even Medusa shaved her underarms, ha!

ReplyDeleteToo funny, Bibi. I hadn't thought of that!
ReplyDeleteI hope that this visage did not have the same traditional effect on onlookers. It is a bit different than some of the other citrus floats. Colourful!
ReplyDeletePerhaps after Perseus dispatches the Gorgon he could use his sword to slice a lemon or two for tea.
ReplyDeleteBibi and Brattcat made me smile!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid by the snakes! brrr!
