Promenade le Corbusier - the Rocks
We've turned around from where we were in yesterday's post and are walking on the Promenade de Corbusier towards Monaco. Waves crash on the rocks and we see Monaco across the bay - when we finish the walk that's where we'll be.
This walk is one of the most beautiful along the coast, rocks, parasol pines - well, you'll see as we continue. Hope you are enjoying it so far.

How I'd love to actually do this walk with you my friend!
ReplyDeleteFailing that, following your photo series will be the second best option. I look forward to that! :-)
Nice waves exploding on the rocks... is that fairly usual or is the sea usually calmer?
True, it's a great place to walk!there was wind this day..
ReplyDeleteYes, I enjoy these great shots, wonderful splash.
ReplyDeleteYou've captured the spray beautifully! I can almost smell and feel it! And the sound is very clear to me!
ReplyDeleteShall we take this walk together? I can smell that water and feel the spray all the way here in Vermont.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos... when I was 16, I spent a year living in R-C-M and attended the lycee in Menton. I spent many an afternoon scrambling on the rocks on the Menton side of the Cap and diving into the blue water. That was a long time ago... I don't think I'd want to attempt it now!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots!!! You did capture the water droplets of the spray perfectly!!!
ReplyDeleteNow that is a beautiful spot.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful walk, Jilly. Thanks for taking us along.
ReplyDeleteBreathe taking!
ReplyDeleteWonderful way to start the day.
