Oh, how I would have loved a balcony like this when we lived on the Rue Longue. All we could do was lean out our window over the street. I did have a flower box though.
Wonderful, colorful perspective on this balcony. The eye is drawn through the palms to the detail and splash of color beyond. The apricot wall makes for a perfect backdrop.
What a very cool place to relax.
ReplyDeleteYou've captured all the charm of the balcony, the botany, the laundry at such an unusual angle. You are ever creative.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you cropped this.
ReplyDeleteI like the clothespins on the clothesline in the foreground.

ReplyDeleteSuch a busy tiny balcony, Jilly. Fabulous what you can see when you just look all around, isn't it? I love this!

Un petit balcon c'est un coin de paradis.....
ReplyDeleteI like the warmth of both the color of the building and the sun on the palm fronds.
ReplyDeleteYour view of it is hallucinatory, shimmering color reflecting Mediterranean light.
ReplyDeleteTerrific POV here Jilly. So much to see. LOVE IT!
