Sitting in the V.I.P. tent was this gentleman with a lot of grey hair. I imagine he is someone of importance in the world of Arabian horses as I wasn't the only one taking his photo.
That's an impressive head of hair and beard, isn't it?

Agnes has interesting taste! His eyebrows are still impressively dark!

ReplyDeleteMy first thought? Grigori Rasputin lives again!
ReplyDeleteIntimidating, no?
ReplyDeleteMy eyes are attracted by his eyebrows.. so dark! He must be terrifying when looking at someone without glasses!
ReplyDeleteBrattcat, the badge means he is attending the Arabian Horse show in Menton 2011, which this is.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a gathering of fans in those magnificent white tents. Just wondering whether it's was a "Reserved" section or was it open to the public ? This scenario is sort of like a modern day version of Lawrence of Arabia. Love the photos.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Montreal DP, yes, it's a reserved section for the owners of the horses and the VIPs. At one end is a section for the judges, quite apart from the rest.
ReplyDeleteBrowsing through your pictures of the show,
