The Arabian Horse Show - Tattoo

I wonder if the tattoo is the name of her horse?

~~~~~
Je me demande si c'est le nom de son cheval qui est tatoué?
  5. Barbara, many thanks. And as you later wrote to me it means, in Arabic, excellent or valuable.
  6. I came back especially to see if Barbara had a translation for this tatt. What an excellent tattoo. I gather nothing to do with horses, just self. What I especially like is the balance in the letters of the word. Are they called 'letters'? Maybe they are more shapes. It is a most pleasing tattoo.
    Hello Julie, I hope you come back again to read this.. I wrote to an internet contact from Lebanon if he could translate the tattoo and he did. As I didn't understand well what he meant I sent this to Jilly and she found out more about the meaning. After that I remembered the "google translator" and put in "Nafis" and the arabic letters appeared on the right side. You can even hear how it's pronounced...
  9. Nafis is an adjective.
    A female can be called Nafisa.
    There is alot of women in Islamic history called Nafisa and holds the same meaning of the adjective:
    precious, invaluable, priceless, Oriental, noble, inestimable.
