The Arabian Horse Show - Reflections in an Eye
Reflections in an Arabian's eye.
Arabian horses have any fine hairs around the eyes and on parts of the muzzle shaved. Then, baby oil or Vaseline is applied to emphasise the black markings and thereby make the eye and muzzle seem more beautiful. I'm sure they are beautiful without it but it seems to be a tradition to catch the judge's eye.

Wow, talk about well-groomed!

I learn something new from you nearly every day, dear Jilly.
ReplyDeleteThis is a more attractive eye than the close up of a crocodile's eye that I showed a few days ago.

Stunning photos. That first one is especially amazing--the reflection, the angle, the face, the eye, the expression. Wow!
