  2. Yes, great portrait yesterday :-)

Since most rooftops here aren't very steep in Provence, many rooftop workers here don't worry about scaffoldings. This one looks safe enough but yes, rather them than me.

I'm not sure how far in you've zoomed but the perspective is fabulous.

  3. Nathalie, I took this from my friend Sheila's house. You will remember it from when we visited. So yes, it's a very long zoom from way up there to the middle of the old village.

  4. Fabulous view and composition, with or without the workers! There is so much of interest with lots of activity and I love the contrasts of colors and patterns.

  5. What a great picture Jully, when you pull it right in there's just so much going on in the windows of those houses.

  6. Very good capture of the roof tops, and yes the workers,, they do have a birds eye view though, but then so do you from where you took the photo.

  8. Lovely, Jilly. Telescopes it all in. One should not look too much into the nooks and crannies of these old buildings ...

  9. Wonderful capture of the jigsaw puzzle of buildings and of those workers perched so high. Imagine how much effort it takes to lug all those tiles up there--aye yie yie!

  10. Also, I like to imagine that there is a secret passageway that winds through all these houses/buildings, connecting them. :)
