The civil ceremony is over, the guests having walked up the village to the church and now it's the time of the bride and her father. But first she is welcomed by the priest who will conduct the religious ceremony.

the two lovely maidens-in-waiting in the top shot are taking their job very seriously and with a good measure of awe. all the adults are so filled with undisguised pleasure in the day and what it means.
