Cocteau's Lizard
In a few weeks Menton Daily Photo will be featuring Menton's new Jean Cocteau Museum, but today, because it's Theme Day in the City Daily Photo community, here's a glimpse of part of the courtyard which features Cocteau's famous lizard motif. And as you can see, it's taken on a life of its own as children love following the pattern created in the pebbles.
Cobbles created with pebbles like this are common in Menton - you find them, for instance, outside the Basilica.

My little Alannah would be delighted to find Cocteau's Lizard. She already walks along anything she can find, as a challenge.
