Josephine Baker at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin
This sculpture at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is of Josephine Baker the legendary singer, dancer and amazing woman who adopted 12 children - her Rainbow Tribe. Later in life, a life that was beyond extraordinary, she was offered life-long accommodation at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin by Princess Grace of Monaco. ReplyDeleteI think it was HBO that did a movie of her life many years ago. It is gratifying that she found such a hospitable environment for her in France.
