Le Mirazur - Perfume of a Truffle
The service hasn't yet started. The chefs are discussing ingredients and presentation. Chef Mauro passes somthing to Chef Hans to smell - perhaps a truffle? As you see in the third photo Hans says something that Chef Mauro finds so funny.
The respect for these two great chefs by members of Chef Maro's young team is itangible - they hang on every word, anxious not to miss a thing. Of course they all dream of having their own Michelin starred restaurants one day ...

Le service n'a pas encore commencé. Les chefs discutent des ingrédients et la présentation. Chef Mauro tend quelque chose à chef Hans pour qu'il le sente- peut-être une truffe? Comme vous le voyez sur la troisième photo, Hans dit quelque chose que chef Mauro trouve très drôle.
Le respect des jeunes membres de l'équipe de chef Mauro pour ces deux grands chefs est évident - ils notent chaque mot, soucieux de ne rien manquer. Bien sûr, ils rêvent tous d'avoir un jour leur propre restaurant étoilé au Michelin ...

ReplyDeleteAll of us with a craft do apprenticeships one way or the other. My son in law is a superb professional chef but has never been to culinary school, learning all his skills on the job.
