Restaurant L'Ulivo - Lunch


This was Peter's first course at Restaurant l'Ulivo - a fish dish with oranges. Mine (see smaller photo) was created with chopped raw prawn and green apple - excellent! We both had a really good lobster risotto as our main course. And afterwards, Peter had a lemon pie (of course in Menton!) and I had a Sardinian cheese and honey pastry, made with a pecorino cheese called Seada. (to die for!) All washed down with a good Provence white.

After that we could barely move ... again, thankyou dear Peter!

Ce fut le premier plat de Peter au restaurant l'Ulivo - un plat de poisson avec des oranges. Le mien (voir la petite photo)  était fait de crevettes crues et de pommes vertes hachées - excellent! Nous avions choisi tous les deux un très bon risotto de homard en plat principal. Et ensuite, Peter a  pris une tarte au citron ( à Menton, ça s'impose!) et moi, une pâtisserie appelée Seada, au fromage sarde, le pécorino, et au miel (une tuerie!) le tout arrosé d'un bon Provence blanc.

Après ça,  nous pouvions à peine bouger ... encore, merci cher Peter!
