Last Tuesday was such a lovely day. Well not the weather, the sun hid her face as you can see. I met two photographer friends, dear Sylvie Matthiew, who lives and loves Menton and has her own blog. And Patrick Hanez from Nice. I only have to breathe the same air as Patrick and I learn something new about photography or how I should be using my camera.
We ate a delicious lunch at Officina del Gusto and later, a treat awaited us. Thanks to Cathy and Patricia we were invited to take photographs from the 2nd floor terrace of the Palais de l'Europe.
Here is a selection of photos showing the gardens, the sea and the mountains. More tomorrow ...

Thanks Jilly for the link to my Blog.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great day !
It was indeed, dear Sylvie x
ReplyDeleteI look forward to your photos of this festival every year; never disappointed. So colorful!
ReplyDeleteWow! Menton has done it again. They never seem to run out of creative ideas for oranges and lemons.
ReplyDeleteAmazingly colourful!
ReplyDeleteThis is mind boggling. I'm sorry that I don't get to see it in person. The light may have been better with the clouds. You would have had some hard orange shadows with sun.
ReplyDeleteI have a mostly dog post on Monday, and maybe more after that.
