Raking the Sand


There are probably worse jobs in the world than raking sand on one of Menton's private beaches ...

    The beaches, public and private, in Menton are so well groomed. I remember seeing a city worker spraying down the pebbles on the public beach early one morning. It won me over in the sand vs. pebbles question. It is harder to clean sand, though raking probably helps.
