If the postman who delivers in the Old Town stopped to talk to every he knows, he'd never get through the day.

He still looks like a proper postman- the uniforms on ours have changed.
ReplyDeleteHe looks very familiar. If he is the same postman we had on the rue Longue years ago, he whistles while he makes the rounds, even after climbing 4 flights of stairs to deliver a package! He is one of the characters that make the neighborhood - always cheerful and helpful.
