To crop or not?

To crop or not to crop a photo? This is the original photo from which I cropped yesterday's image.

Recadrer ou ne pas recadrer une photo? Ceci est la photo d'origine à partir de laquelle j'ai recadré l'image d'hier.

  1. Both look fab Jilly but I like the uncropped version today better, love seeing the whole street scene and those gorgeous lamps.

  3. In this case, cropping it brought focus to the child.

  4. I vote for crop, Jilly. It told its own story.

  5. I think the crop is good. It tells a story.

  6. I'm on the side of the crop too. In the larger view I didn't even notice the child! The cropped photo, as Karen USA and FotoMarg said, tells a story.

  7. The general photo is a standard (but nice) street scene. No particular focus, nothing much happening. The cropped one tells a story and we're right in there with the family. I vote for the crop too! So you see, your first move was right!
