A Village Wedding - the Bride

There was a wedding in Gorbio village last Saturday and I was so happy to have been invited to take the photographs. So, with the kind permission of the bride and groom, let me share with you, over the next few days, some of the beauty and joy of their big day.

In fact it was more than a wedding. First, there was the marriage ceremony in the Mairie and following that, a Republican baptism for the couple's two adorable children.

So meet Claire, the beautiful bride - she makes me think of a 1930s film star and that's daughter Emma, on the left - we'll meet her properly another day.

Samedi dernier, il y avait un mariage au village de Gorbio et je suis si heureuse d'avoir été invitée à prendre les photos. Ainsi, avec l'aimable autorisation de la mariée et du marié, permettez-moi de partager avec vous, au cours des prochains jours, une partie de la beauté et de la joie de leur grand jour.

En fait, c'était plus qu'un mariage. Tout d'abord, il y a eu la cérémonie de mariage dans la Mairie et ensuite, un baptême républicain pour les deux adorables enfants du couple.

Donc voici Claire, la belle mariée - elle me fait penser à une star de cinéma des années 1930 et à gauche, sa fille Emma que  nous reverrons un autre jour.
