Coffee in Peille


Peille is a beautiful mountain village way above Monaco and Menton.  Here, a couple of cyclists stop for a coffee in the main square.

Peille est un beau village de montagne au-dessus de Monaco et Menton.   Ici, un couple de cyclistes s'est arrêté pour un café sur la place principale.

    Thank you for the trip to Peille, Jilly. We set out for there once, but a truck was blocking a road sign for a turn and we ended up running out of road at the top of the mountain. It gave us a sweeping view of the valley, but no charming village, and we had to drive backwards a long way to get back on track.

    I cannot imagine cycling in those mountains but the rest stop looks like paradise.
