Procession Saint Lazare

The medieval Chapel St. Lazare sits on  the outskirts of Gorbio village on the 'Herculean' Roman road.   St. Lazare, in the 11th and 12th centuries protected the village against leprosy.

Each year on the 2nd July there is a procession from the Church in the village to this tiny chapel.  Photo: 2012.

La chapelle médiévale Saint-Lazare se trouve à la périphérie de village Gorbio sur la route romaine «herculéenne». Saint-Lazare, dans les 11e et 12e siècles protégeait le village contre la lèpre.
