Here's my lunch the other day - a truly delicious salmon and prawn lasagne created by chef, Francois (super photographer as well) at my favourite Monaco restaurant - le Baobab on Larvotto Beach. Great food, super friendly service - it's my home from home when I eat in Monaco - and not crazy expensive either.

Voici mon déjeuner l'autre jour - une  lasagne de saumon et crevettes vraiment délicieuse,  créée par le chef, François (super photographe également) dans mon restaurant préféré à Monaco - le Baobab sur la plage du Larvotto. La cuisine y est excellente, le service très sympa - c'est chez moi à la maison quand je déjeune à Monaco - et ce n'est pas follement cher non plus.

Monaco Historic Grand Prix - and a Fiat bicycle

 A cute Fiat bike is a great way for this lady to whizz around the paddock area or to get back to her yacht. It is designed to fit into the rear boot of the Fiat 500.

 Un joli vélo Fiat est un excellent moyen pour cette dame pour filer  autour de la zone des paddocks et revenir à son yacht. Il est conçu pour tenir dans le coffre arrière de la Fiat 500.

Monaco Historic Grand Prix - tying your shoelaces

Monaco Historic Grand Prix today in glorious sunshine. I guess if you own a 1959 Lotus 16 (isn't she beautiful?) then you can take advantage of a front tyre to tie your shoelaces.

Monaco Historic Grand Prix - Bugatti 37A

If you love old cars then you should be in Monaco at the moment. The Monaco Historic Grand Prix is held every two years in the Principality and will take place on Sunday. Wandering amongst these beauties yesterday was a treat. This is a 1927 Bugatti 37A.

Si vous aimez les vieilles voitures  alors vous devriez être à Monaco en ce moment . Le Grand Prix Historique de Monaco  se déroule  tous les deux ans dans la Principauté et il aura lieu  dimanche prochain . Déambuler hier, parmi ces beautés , était un régal. Voici une  Bugatti 37A de 1927.

Memories of a Princely Family

The entrance to this year's Monaco Dog Show is decorated with wonderful old photos of Monaco's Princely family.  In this photo, the little boy is Prince Rainier and behind him, his sister,  Princess Antoinette.  Later in life, she kept dozens of dogs and was the President of the Monaco's Society for the Protection of Animals.

L'entrée du Monaco Dog Show de cette année est décorée avec de vieilles photos magnifiques de la famille Princière de Monaco. Sur cette photo, le petit garçon est le Prince Rainier et derrière lui, sa sœur, la princesse Antoinette. Plus tard dans sa vie, celle-ci a gardé des dizaines de chiens et a été la Présidente de la Société Protectrice des Animaux de Monaco.
